There were many colour variations, here are just a couple, also a photo of the real thing - an Alta racing car.

I believe this photo shows a different Alta than the Scamold model. Here is a picture of the real one!

Yes, there is certainly a better likeness in your photo.
Do you know of a source for spare parts for Scamold models? I need some tyres and springs to restore a model I have.

Hi Chris,
unfortunately no, but I once used a thin guitar string to reproduce a spring. Worked quite well, almost forgot which one I made.
